18917 Breaker System – Slim System
The ceramic sheet is also constantly evolving. New models and formats are appearing on the market every day, and with them, new thicknesses. At RUBI we want professionals from all over the world to have the best and most advanced solutions for the cutting and installation of ceramic sheets. That is why RUBI puts, at your disposal, solutions made with all the knowledge and experience necessary to manufacture high precision tools.
The high demands of our customers and the market makes us put all our experience into designing tools and products for cutting and laying ceramic tile in the most accurate way. The SLIM separator is the perfect complement for the cutting of ceramic sheets with SLIM CUTTER, when the sheet thicknesses are equal to or greater than 8 mm. In addition to its main use (ceramic sheet cutting), the SLIM separator can also be used as an auxiliary separator for large format tiles.
The SLIM separator is equipped with an ergonomic handle, SOFT-GRIP, to minimize user effort during use.
Taking into account that, when cutting large-format pieces, it is very common and necessary to obtain narrow pieces or strips, in RUBI we have equipped the SLIM breaker with a system for adjusting the width of the piece, which allows us to obtain properly distributed, uniform, equitable and symmetrical breaking power. The minimum narrow strip that the SLIM breaker can cut is 4 cm.
The minimum narrow strip that the SLIM separator can cut is 4 cm. Manufactured in high performance steel sheet, the SLIM separator has a net weight of approximately 1.5 kg, which together with its small dimensions (23 cm x 18 cm) make it the perfect cutting complement for all professionals. For long pieces, it is recommended to use two SLIM separators working at the same time from both ends of the piece to be cut.
